Quarry would KO Morrison. Tommy would probably be over-confident and careless because of the size difference between the two fighters. Quarry could give and take, but Morrison's chin wasn't the best. Jerry was erratic at times and Tommy lived a life-style that would have made Max Baer look like a monk! Interesting match-up.

This must be TOMMY THE DUKE MORRISON week here on ESB FORUM:lol:

Quirky matchup, it's like Elvis going up against John Wayne...

I would favor Morrison without doubt to win this, at around 30 lbs heavier, and a big advantage in speed and physical strength he would bully Quarry around the ring, Jerry has an advantage in stamina so he would try to survive to the late rounds trying to force Morrison to run out of gas, but i don't see it happening:-(

I think Morrison's speed and combinations would open up cuts on Quarry forcing the ref or the ring doctor to stop the fight in the 9th or 10th round, both guy's have a lot of heart so i think this match will last a while:smoke

I honestly don't know.. I could see both of them taking a "W" out of a series of match ups. Quarry has a very good record against quality contenders who are comparable to Morrison's level and even a tad bit above. Tommy on the other hand has physical tools and stylistic traits that could make for a nightmarish evening for Jerry. Being a fast starter, Morrison could catch Quarry early, as Jerry sometimes took a few rounds to heat up ( the shavers fight was a rare exception. ) The other possibility is that if Morrison gets trigger happy and lets his guard down, he could walk right in to a one two counter sequence and wind up on the deck himself. Not an easy outcome to pick.

Quarry hit too hard for Tommy who may be able to box a bit and may also be able to land the hook a bit but Quarry had a solid chin and went to the body and head well....Quarry by KO

I think Shavers was better than Morrison, and that is my answer.
