You make the polls closed because to didn't want the voters like yourself to feel shamed making the wrong decision.

 

Not sure about this one, one defining factor Wlad has over Larry is size which is a huge advantage but apart from that Larry ticks all the boxes to beat Wlad. I will go with Holmes but any result would not surprise me, Wlad and his brother are very underated.

 

This is Holmes Cooney all over again - only this time the fight doesn't see the later rounds...

Wlad is faster, better jab, stronger, and an all around more skilled heavyweight than Cooney ever was. Holmes gets cracked

 

Povetkin was a weak version of Ernie Shavers. He fought the exact same only had none of the power Shavers had.

Holmes knocked Shavers out without barely a clinch let alone jumping on his back and bear hugging him.

If Wlad boxed Povetkin without all the fouling , he would of got knocked out cold.

Wlad hasn't got a single win on his record better than Shavers. thats a fact.

He'd barely get past Shavers as far as im concerned.

He hasn't a prayer against Holmes.

 

Holmes...beat atleast 8-10 opponents better than Wlad best win!

I too am surprised by the closeness of this poll, I take Holmes all day simply due to the superior defence. Wlad is simply not in the same league as Holmes in terms of ring savvy, head and body movement/elusiveness, variety of both pace and punches and, dare I say it, stamina (although I concede Wlad is supremely conditioned).

Larry's up on his toes dancing rings round Klitchko for round after round, show-boating...the lot! Sure Wlad has the power to cause the upset (and IMO it would be an upset) but Wlad's great conditioning is apparent in slower fights with less output, he can't keep up with Larry's frustrating style and loses 3 fights by a wide margin here.

This is where you bow out gracefully Dr. Steelhammer. No shame from this at all.......

 

People have to be making up accounts just to vote in these polls. Vitali beating Louis just based on size is somewhat feasible. Wlad beating a prime Larry Holmes though? Ridiculous. :rofl

 

Has Wlad ever fought 15 rounds? Stamina goes to Larry.
