The Klitschko overrating on this forum reaches insane levels. Holmes by easy TKO in 8 or so.

How can a guy who has presided and won in convincing, but unimpressive fashion over a league of overweight scrubs possibly going to be favored over a fighter of Holmes' caliber, who way past his best competed in an elite HW era and dominated his own more impressively?

    Boxing nubiles.

When I first saw these threads for the H2H tournament I kind of expected it to turn out like this. Most people on this forum believe size is much more important than actual boxing skills and I can pretty much guarantee the final four will be both the Kiltschkos, Lewis and Ali. And of course it will be either Wlad or Lewis that wins

Plus half of the sad ****s on here have at least a dozen alts

Size in the case of Wlad is a big target that's athletic, but mentally fragile under any kind of pressure. It's not like Holmes is small. His jab gets in on Wlad, his right hand gets in on Wlad, the guy was versatile, had respectable power and you only need respectable power to have Wlad all disoriented and possibly on the floor.

Holmes far more versatile, mentally tough, durable and a higher ring IQ.

The Klits shouldn't even have made it to the QFs. The best notable thing combined of the Klit bro's as a sinular accomplishment was Vitali ahead on the cards against a way past it Lewis in his own peak in a LOSS. And the moronic fans act like it was some kind of one sided affair that Lewis was saved from when he in fact had Vitali hurt in the 6th before it stopped and consistently landed the bigger blows in a sloppy fight, but entertaining fight. The last entertaining HW fight of top caliber talents that is.

Pitiful boxing knowledge and disrespectful to the real greats.

Lewis on the other hand absolutely in a tournament like this would make it far, he was twice the fighter at his best than either of the K Bros.

They also say Joe Louis has NO chance against either Klitschko. ZERO.

And truthfully the really sad thing is it's not so much Vitali that wouldn't do well, it's Wlad that H2H should be viewed as a horrible specimen against elite HWs. Vitali faced a past it HW ATG, Wlad hasn't faced a single fighter that would honestly rate over B level and has some KO losses to some of them, as well as some wins that were extremely unimpressive and showed how a great fighter would easily dismantle him.

Povetkin fight should have been a DQ and he had to hold because if Povetkin was able to do any work inside it may have been particularly dangerous for Wladimir. And the thing is that this isn't indicative of him sliding, he's always fought like this post-Brewster.

People think his 1 dimensional game and mental fragility is so augmented by unbeatable size and physical capabilities? Those latter points work against unskilled, out of shape current specimens and give no evidence that he'd stack up at all against some really good.

HOLMES was excellent, much less "really good".

Hopefully some people vote and knock Wladimir out of this. Although this was the wrong forum to do this on, lol...

    That's absurdity.

#1 - History is littered through ALL of the weight classes with superior smaller guys beating inferior bigger guys.

#2 - We have evidence of Joe Louis destroying styles of all kinds and sizes of all kinds, including very large fighters.

#3 - Both K Bros never easily destroyed smaller athletic skillful HWs of their current era like a prime Byrd, Chambers and others. The easiest time they had was with overweight plodders.

Now think about Joe Louis, an elite level HW with murderous power.

No atg would get outboxed by jimmy young, knocked out by rahman or McCall, no atg would get stopped by buster douglas. Anyway you're a delusional brittard and YKSAB

I know. It's ridiculous. One of the ultimate punchers in terms of power and technique of all time and he has no chance of beating a fighter who has been stopped 3 times? :patsch

Haye didn't stand there in front of him. He flopped to the canvas 11 times! He was in complete survival mode. Wlad destroyed Brewster in the rematch. Emanuel Steward said "You about to knock him out with your jab" Brewster quit on his stool without injury saying he didn't want brain damage and wanted to be able to talk to his kids. Froms Wlad's jabs!

I saw an interview with Mike Tyson on KTLA (Local news station in Los Angeles) He was asked "Mike, when you were champion you were 5' 11" 221lbs. The Klitschko Brothers are over 6' 6" 245lbs. Could you have beaten them?" Mike's answer "Well I always thought I could beat anyone. You have to have that mindset going into a fight. But the fact is, each generation gets bigger and stronger. I know people don't want to hear that but it's true. I don't know if I could have beaten them" I know Tyson destroyed Holmes who was said to be washed up at 38, yet Wladimir is still king at 38. I'd love to get Tyson's opinion on this question.

Larry is a much better punch-picker, combination puncher, superior on the inside - though this is neither's strong point, faster, better on his feet.
