Wlad isn't a great fighter. He's a great spoiler. There is a big difference. And being a great spoiler presiding over the most trash laden division since the birth of the gloved title.

Now I'm not saying the guy isn't talented and skilled, I am saying he's by no means a real fighter and would fold in any instance where he had to slug it out for a victory.

Holmes and Lewis have a very ignorant regard towards them that they are both solely safety first like a Klitschko(Vitali proved he's willing to get in the trenches if need be though, so again Vitali is exempt), when both absolutely if required would get in the pocket and battle it out toe to toe if that is what the fight needed to attain victory.

Wlad can't win that way. When you get two greats of equal skills and comparable talent, the skills usually balance each other out and you get a battle of sorts.

See Lennox vs. Vitali. See Holmes vs. Norton.

Wlad? He's going to go toe to toe? Not a chance, he gets stopped vs. any great HW.

You're all mad if you think anything otherwise. lol.

Why is Wlad, who gets destroyed in 2 rounds by 37 year old unfit retiree never contenders, in a Quarter final for ATGs??

If Brewster...Purity....Sanders can stop Wlad. Surley...Holmes can too! Some thought Tos should have gotten the nod over wlad. HOLMES...is on another level!

Holmes technique would be the difference in this fight..wins wide on points or late stoppage

    This.

Wlad would not of made a rash decision on the fly to fight Povetkin that way.

That was his gameplan because he and his team knew he wasn't good enough to box a ordianary guy like Povetkin.
And he was 100% deserving of a DQ loss.

You think Peter was as good as those guys?:nut

And those guys beat other ATGs while Wlad never beat anybody above B level and those B level guys were able to knock Wlad out.

You went and made a fool out of yourself as usual.

Haye stood directly in front of him for 12 full rounds. You didn't watch the fight.
And he went on a knee because he didn't want a 250 pound man riding on his back.
You're a fool if you think the Brewster rematch means anything when he was injury induced retired for over a year and was nothing but a shell of himself who went to Germany against the advice of his team.

Wlad proved he was no match for a healthy prime version of Brewster.

Holmes 6'3" 215ish v.s Wladimir 245 at 6'6" and has one of the best offensive arsenals of all time. Yet Holmes "Easy tko" or "easy UD" LOL Get the f**k outta here with that S***t! Holmes gets hit as hard as he did against Shavers in this one except more often. And as far as Holmes fighting on the inside, he gets tied up then thrown away for more jabs, hooks, and 1-2's from the outside. UD or late stoppage by Wladimir with Larry having his moments here and there. It wouldn't be a cakewalk. Wladimir is way better than anyone Larry fought during his 'reign' as heavyweight champion. Take a look at the majority of those names! Not talking about Norton, Cooney, or Ali with heavy brain damage. Even those guys would get beaten pretty bad by Wladimir too. Lets be honest

"No match for a healthy prime version of Brewster." LOL! And you accuse other people of not watching fights. You did notice Brewster getting his brains scrambled for the first 4 rounds right? Getting dropped for the first time in his career. I think Brewster is LUCKY Wladimir had gas tank problems in that one. If not he COULDN'T have lasted 2 more rounds enduring those hydrogen bombs he was getting cracked with. He got schooled in the rematch. Period

Holmes to win he'd have to go life and death with Wlad. Not impossible, but unlikely IMO. Wlad is fast, hits ultra hard and nullifies Holmes' offensive.

Clear UD win for Wlad IMO.

Wlad was ready to go in the 4th round and got saved by the bell. He couldn't even get to the half way point. He GOT BLOWN OUT.

Brewster ran the gas out of him with body shots. Brewster was Wlads problem not his gas tank.

How sad is it that Wlad had to drag Brewster out of retirement who had no licence to box to claim a meaningless victory. :patsch

    You stupid or something?

Holmes went on to rack up 20 plus wins against high ranked contenders.

Brewster took another few KO loses and went back into retirement.

Holmes is an ATG. Brewster is a no namer.
