In the final 10 seconds of the fight, Foreman readies his Sunday punch, his patented hook. They're both tired, and either is ready to go. Lewis quickly realizes that he doesn't have enough in the tank to stop Foreman, so he backs away, glancing up at the clock. In the split second of Lewis glancing, Foreman throws the hook from what looks like half the ring away.

It's now or never, and if it lands, Lewis will surely go down. As Lewis looks back down at his suddenly much closer opponent, he sees a huge fist mere inches from him. Instinctively and buckles forward, and the blow glances off of his cheek and he staggers forward, over Foreman and falls to the canvas.

KNOCKDOWN! And that seals it for Big George!

But wait...the ref rules it a slip! No knockdown, no knockdown!

Foreman is incredulous, and Lewis takes his sweet time getting up, waiting for the clock to expire. He can barely stand, because he knows the knockdown was real. Just as he makes it back to the feet, the bell rings. The crowd erupts! It was an epic fight that comes down to the wire and replays of the final seconds that will air for days on end.

    We go to the scorecards:

    114-114 Draw
    114-114 Draw
    114-113 - and the winner...

    LENNOX LEWIS!

The non-call was the difference in the fight, and Lennox barely escapes with the win.

do you know how many Americans there are compared to the Euro's?

this was mostly the American vote. but there were a handful of Klit fans, yes.

both sides should stab themselves in the face with a ball point pen.

at least Lewis didn't lose what would be a complete miss-match in real life. so that's something.

I voted for Foreman but I am not disappointed in the Lennox voters because a Lennox vs Foreman match would actually be very close and competitive and could sway either way - unlike the Holmes Wlad matchup in which Holmes would dominate the fight from 1-12/15, if it lasted that long.
