LOL, you know, back when the Foreman Grill was in its prime, I was too young to have one of my own. Now that I'm old enough to have one, all of my cooking needs are met with stuff that's even easier to use. My kitchen has an induction cooktop, a steam convection oven, and one of these bad boys: http://us.bertazzoni.com/professional-series/microwaves/2430-speed-oven. It combines a microwave, broiler, and electric oven and there's an intelli-sensor that is able to use all three simultaneously to achieve all the benefits of each with none of the drawbacks. So you can achieve a perfect bake at near-microwave speeds. And it has a connected probe that you put inside the food and as soon as the right internal temp is reached, it automatically stops cooking. Amazing appliance.

And completely unrelated to this thread. Sorry! :)

If Lewis gets eliminated, Vitali may very well be the favourite in the semifinals.

LOL You can't even spell dominate! Foreman would beat the living crap out of Lewis, it wouldn't be close, he would get walked down and battered...have you ever watched Foreman in his prime? Really watched? The guy was a freak who hit as hard as Tyson and had long arms and a great chin. Lewis can only win when he can keep his opponents at bay...look at what happened against Vitali lol! Foreman would be up in his face with arms long enough to touch Lewis at all times...bad fight for Lewis, he loses by KO before the end of the half way point.

The first day of the poll, Lewis was down by something like 12 votes, but came back to take the lead overnight. Votes are going to be harder to come by between now and Saturday, but it is still possible to close the gap if a dozen or so Brits mobilize and vote. Holmes went from down 12 to pulling within four today.

Maybe a stupid question concerning this fight--but it has to do with the rules. So fo Foreman, does this mean he has the brutal power and ability as in his first career, but the patience and calmness he showed in his 2nd career? If that's the case, George wins this one and that's the way I voted.

Boxers and their camp are given extensive footage of their opponent and have a week to prepare a game plan.
Boxers are in peak physical and mental condition in their absolute prime.
After each fight, the fighters are magically restored to their pre-fight condition, but retain full knowledge of what they learned from their opponent and have another week to prepare a revised game plan.

Nah, I didnt mean you can mix and match traits from different stages of a fighters career to create a version of the boxer that never existed. I meant you basically pluck them from time when they were at their best.

    maybe a stupid question????

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Thanks for the genuine laugh there.

yeah, Foreman can be in his prime when he couldn't box for toffee, but go forward in time to where he was a bit more patient, in a car just like in back to the future, meet up with his older self, join the two together, come back in time to where he was prime again... well, you know the rest obviously.

do you know you can also reinforce the fighters with tanks, hammer's of Thor, and dictators as well??? if you didn't, then you've got the wrong end of the stick with this Thread.

because that's how everyone else is voting. :yep

i've got Hitler and the Garbage Pale Kids alongside Lewis in all his battles.

    feel the force.

So...suspending belief enough to put fighters in their "absolute prime" is completely normal..? And each fighter is "magically restored to prefight condition" I know it happens..and has been argued in boxing forever. But with George you have a special case. He had two very different, successful careers with a Word Title reign in each. The Prime Physical peak for George is in his first, and the prime mental George is in his 2nd.

So the rules say the fighters are in their peak physical and mental condition in their absolute prime. For George, those two categories span to separate time frames of his career.
