    Are you stupid or something?

Vitali was beaten by Chris Byrd.

Byrd was shorter than Louis and the small bit of extra weight he had was made up of fat.

Are you claiming Byrd was better than Louis because he carried an extra bit of fat?

Louis was also probably the greatest puncher of all time and chopped down many men the size of Vitali.

Byrd didn't have the power to snap a twix.

No, Vitali was seeded higher. So it is holding to form

Vitali ONLY beats Louis because human beings were smaller in the 40s compared to today. Not because he is anywhere near as skilled or highly ranked as the great Joe Louis

I have finally decided that Vittles will knock out good ol' Joe in the mid-late rounds.

Vitali gives Louis a frightful beating at range before the shaky chin of Joe gives way.

    another miss-match.

please stop with this rubbish you keep on writing. Vitali would dominate Joe with ease. this is not a match, it's a slaughter.

vitali gave lennox a hamburger face within six rounds. joe louis wouldn't make it twelve - he is way too small. the ref would stop the massacre.

Louis doesn't have any one particular area that can offset the size difference.

Louis is just too small to compete with modern day SHWs. He would get murdered by Bowe, Louis, Wlad, Vitali etc. etc.

The only advantage Vitali has in this fight is size, and in fairness it could be the deciding factor.
On the other hand Klitschko is facing the purest and most devastating puncher in heavyweight history.
Nah sorry, the robot doesn't beat Louis who at some point in this contest connects and knocks Vitali out.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but here's me thinking Vitali was stopped because his face was sliced to bits.

People keep bringing up Byrd in their arguments for Louis. But styles make fights.

Vitali definitely lost to Byrd, but context is key. He was ahead on the scorecards before he tore his shoulder. Most importantly, Joe Louis and Chris Byrd fought nothing alike in actuality (though Louis is ATG). It's not a valid comparison.
