I always wondered why there wasn't more of an uproar or even discussion about this one. I remember Quartey looking befuddled and staring down the judges after the fight.
Based on what actually happened, Quartey most likely would pick up a decision by out jabbing Forrest.
A terrible decision. I remember Quartey being a sizable underdog, counting my winnings and then screaming at the TV when I heard the decision. This decision and Forrest’s loss to Sergio Mora really soured me on him. That said, may his killer rot in hell!
