how do u see the match up going i'm unsure about it, i dont know if quartey would be able to adapt to shanes speed, i think if he used his jab regularly he'd have an easy night, but with that peek-a-boo style of his all shane needs to do is stick and move and use his speed to get out of ikes range.its a hard one to call, ike had a good chin and whatever mosely lands i'm sure he'd take it without any bother
This could have been a great match-up. Most people think that Quartey defeated Forrest. Forrest defeated Mosley twice. Mosley twice defeated Vargas. Vargas defeated Quartey. Both fighters lost to Wright. Both have competitive fights with De la Hoya. Quartey's commitment to the jab could really trouble Mosley. I am inclined to pick Mosley in a disputed decision that I would would think that Quartey won. I drink a lot. Forgive me.
I wouldn't be surprised if Quartey were to lose this fight by robbery. He beat DelaHoya, I don't care what anyone says. Just like Ali vs Norton III, I can't count enough rounds that Delahoya did enough to earn the decision against Ike. The knockdown in the last round shouldn't have mattered and wouldn't have mattered if the fight had taken place in the 40's or 50's. I had Quartey winning that fight by four points and I don't agree with the championship rounds, 10, 11 and 12 crap. The Vernon Forrest decision was just as bad, if not worse. Quartey vs Mosely would have been a good fight that could have gone either way.
