Joyce v Whyte / Okolie v Riakporhe - Manchester (April) Wood v Cacace - Nottingham (April) Josh Taylor v Essuman - Glasgow (May) Decent start.
Nate Collins vs Lee McGregor on the Taylor card is an absolute screamer. Aloys Junior vs Jameson is good as well
I binned DAZN last year and am now on a "churn reduction" discount that runs to June. Wonder how many people were also cancellation hangovers from buying Saudi events and tempted into a 12-month cheap rate to stay on? Those events might tempt me if it was part of a regular annual schedule, but only at the cheap anti-cancellation price, not 20+ per month.
They refuse to delete card details from their records, they often stop you canceling, tie you into things when it's unclear. They are one of the worst companies I've dealt with, until the customer services improve, I will absolutely be watching for free elsewhere. Mods can ban me, BUT DAZN should realise people aren't happy with how they conduct themselves,
Nice try DAZN. I won’t be signing back up. Paid for 12 months for next to no UK cards. Not being scammed again.
It looks good ! How wonderful that Frank Warren has signed with DAZN. This means that the subscribers can look forward to some great UK shows. Eddie Hearn has not delivered very many of them lately.
Thinking of taking the plunge and signing up as most of the boxing is on there now. Would you recommend it as a good value subscription? The price does appear on the high side but I assume subscribers don't have to pay Box Office fees on top?
You can wait until August and see which Promoters have signed with DAZN. There will be many announcements in the coming months. If you are a boxing fan, DAZN will be impossible to avoid.
Can't complain with that. This is what I was hoping to see, decent UK shows, the type of events that make you want to attend. Cacace vs Wood has the potential for a tear up as long as this isn't them just cashing out. I think this could be a cracker. The Heavyweight card in Manchester isn't really my cup of tea but I think it will do well as it has a headline that crosses over to casuals. It's also good to see a couple of cross promotional fights on that card, fights really are getting made now. Taylor - will be interesting to see what he's got left. If he's not on it against Essuman will find him out. Hopefully more good cards/fights to come
Ball Doheny presser on now, Jack Turner trying his best with all the Paddy Pimblett sound bites but Farrag not biting Wish I wasn't out for the stupid rugby so I could see this one, a good domestic card
