Cuba is a great shout, but I think the UK is just having a purple patch right now with some top fighters in the pro's and amateurs

Holyfield says he's a great christian, but has what, 9 kids to 6 different women? The american trainers are the best, and there's alot of great gyms in America. You didnt give an answer yet, but questioned mine.

Im English, id definitly go 2 America , not because of the trainers or anything, but because Frank Warren is the main promoter here. He is the worst thing for boxing and real boxing fans who luv this sport. He cares about his own pocket only, fighters are just an investment to him. In America good fighters at the same stage of their career fight each other. Did we gewt Hatton-Witter at DOMESTIC level (i know Hatton is ducking him now, but back then it wasnt happenin because of Warren i think) - no. Will we get Khan-Mitchell, i dont think s0, especially after whatjust happend to his other investment - Macarinelli. I despise Frank Warren and what he's been doing to boxing for so long.

BTW , i think that Khan-Mitchell not happening is so bad it cant be explained in words.

Oh right, but as a boxing fan i can accept the con when the right fights are getting made, even if it is all about money for them.

The equivalent to Khan-Mitchell in the US would be, say, Anthony Petersen against Yuriorkis Gamboa, who seems to be US-based now. Are we likely to see that soon?

Man, u see a lot more fights between fighters at the same stages of their careers (any stage), through American based promoters than what Frank Warren has treated us(boxing fans everywhere) to.

Well, there's a lot more to British boxing than Frank Warren.

And do you have any examples of the sort of fights that you're talking about, analagous to Khan/Mitchell? Especially ones where, like those two, the fighters in question were competing in different weight classes prior to fighting each other.
