Serious question here I see a lot of people say he needs to fight MWs and stop dragging smaller fighters up, who are all these guys he's outweighing by 20lbs?

Didn't Canelo start his career at 140 and has been at 154 since 10"/11" in his last few fights he's fought Cotto,Kirkland,Lara,Angulo,Mayweather,&Trout. Outside of May& to a lesser extent Cotto aren't they all the same size? Even Cotto is 165+ fight night.
Take the potential Smith fight somehow he's dragging up a JMW when the highest he's weighed in at is 154.5/55, the biggest I can recall Canelo being in the ring is 170/71 and even then so was his opponent.

Where does this idea that Alvaraz is dragging up smaller fighters come from?

Josesito Lopez, Lovemore Ndou, Jose Miguel Cotto all never fought at 154 before Canelo or after.
The Lopez fight is his most preview fight when people want to showcase his power. Josesito was fresh out of LW with a couple of 140 fights and Oscar brought Lopez up to 154 to have a showcase fight for Canelo. He didn't even weight enough at the weight in against Canelo.

The equalizer is when Floyd dominated him in front of 2.2 million people and a packed MGM Grand. Then everybody threw a fit over 2 pounds. I'm laughing my ass off now at the man who is draining MWs and bringing up Jr. MWs.

The biggest issue with Canelo is that we know he rehydrates to the LHW limit on fight night. So even 5lbs higher as the IBF even allows for a full fledged Middleweight.
He has chosen the lowest weight hw can still safely make as the weight people have to fight him on for maximum advantage.

Exactly what 99% of fighters have been doing since the day before weigh in's and the same amount continue to do.

We can name on our fingers the number of fighters that fight in their natural division

he does it by inventing a new division (155) wich is a big difference to guys that pull the maximum weightadvantage out of an existing division.

175-155=20lbs, while if it was the actual Middleweight division he was fighting in, compared to everyone else you mention it would be 175-160=15lbs. (he would probably rehydrate to about 177 then, but still)
Pretty sure his next weight will be 156 or 157 if he can't make 155 anymore and so on. Really a significant difference.

Aren't most of those fights from when he first moved up in weight, a former WW fighting WWs in his first few fights in a new division. How long ago was that like 5 yrs, so three fights gets you the rep of dragging up smaller fighters

I have personally never seen anything that had Alvarez walking into the ring at 175, and also don't almost all JMWs and MWs rehydrate to around that exact same weight?

Another point you bring up this new division thing a non title fight 1lb over a division limit isn't new, how do you drag a fighter up 1 lb? Also how are you picking on smaller fighters when outside of Mayweather and to a lesser extent Cotto everyone he's fought has been the same size?

Amir Khan comes into 147 fights at 160+ is he a MW/JMW? Or a guy like Lara he enters 154 fights at 168/70 is he also a LHW?

So looking into it some more the dudes first JMW fight was vs Cotto he's had 15 fights above 147 only 5 of them from what I can see hadn't been JMWs and since the Trout fight every opponent he's fought either started at or won titles at JMW.
