Just pricing up to go to watch Froch v Mack and its going to be an expensive weekend with fuel, hotel, food, drink and a ticket. I've found a cheap £30 a night travelodge about 5 miles away from Nottingham city centre which isn't bad. I was wondering though what are the £40 tickets/seats like in the Capital fm arena? Are they any good and what are they like in comparison to the £60 tickets/seats? Thanks in Advance.
I've been told there isn't a bad view at the capital fm arena, but the main reason your going is for the boxing, why go cheap on the main thing
top tier? It's effectively single tiered all the way round isn't it? Here's a seating plan... http://www.ticketline.co.uk/event/e...pital-fm-arena-nottingham-2009-10-17-19-30-00 Dont quote me on it but I'd imagine the £40 seats are blocks 19 and 1. For the Bute fight I had £100 tickets. They ended up being 3rd row from the back on the edge of block 15...it was a great view regardless but not worth paying the extra. As others have said there doesn't seem to be a bad seat in there.
I had floor seats for the Bute fight and it was pretty decent, although gone for the tiered £40 as my mates went in them for it and the atmosphere is much better.
because maybe hes no got money to burn but wants to go to the figth ,really stupid question when you dont know his circumstances
so because the guy dosent wantto buy a more expensive seat,he shouldent go to the figth ? what a twat you are:-(
Where do I say that? Please can you quote me? I said the main reason you want to go is to see the boxing? Don't stay in a hotel drive home straight away get a better ticket. So I'm a twat for giving decent advice good one
valid point i agree if ur really looking fward to the fight dont go cheap......treat urself......to 100.00 tickets it could turn out to b the greatest fight ever or pure shite but it is a risk we all take........
The atmosphere alone will be amazing, remember being in an £80 seat at the MEN for Haye V Ruiz, it was amazing my first big fight
I was in 60's for Froch/Bute and they were good, not entirely convinced how much better they were than 40's though looking at where they were. However, the difference between 60's at Capital FM and 40's at the Motorpoint Arena are pretty big though, we felt much closer at the Capital FM. When we moved to the 80's or 100's after everybody left post Brook/Jones the view was so much better and I genuinely feel its worth getting a close, centralish seat. It's worth the extra money if you're watching a full night of boxing.
I'm 26 and live on my own with a mortgage, bills and a car to run so money is fairly tight thats why i was looking at the cheap tickets. I think all there are only single £40 tickets left now anyway so I think I'll have to go for the £60 one's as I require a couple.
