errrr dude, read my first post on the thread, i mentioned already hed been down by limmond gomez and prescott, then that guy said hes been knocked down by 3 other fighters and i replied with no just one more that being drilzane

 

because its the only thing they can use to bash khan with when it comes to his boxing. Haters gonna hate

 

I never said Khan has a good chin. I openly admitted his chin is rubbish and it'll be his downfall.

If Khan had a good chin, I'd probably be making threads on how Khan will be the next SRR

 

Cus he hasnt happened to have fought a puncher since Prescott. So its given an assumption that hes 'ducking' bangers, But fighting a very solid guy like Kotelnik (who had Alexander hurt and argubaly beat him), A Mandatory and having a Voluntary against a guy coming off his best career win means hes a 'ducker. Its true.. At 140 his chin and punch resistance has not been tested but its a more ideal weight for him.. Maidaina should give us an idea of how it is at this weight, but of course Freddie Roach wont be letting Khan stand and trade if he does get caught and hurt.

 

You going by Khan on points or KO over Maidana?

I really don't know to be honest.

Khan might go in early and overwhelm Maidana which is very possible with Maidana or he could outbox safely for 12 rounds UD.

I also have a feeling that Maidana will stop Khan when he's peddling back. Maidana will throw his big right and pow.

But we'll see.

I see Khan getting caught, taking a count without a doubt in this fight but getting up to box and score a points win i think. IF he is caught and floored, this is where we see if hes learnt off previous times and can survive, Not stay in the pocket and try to counter like he did with Prescott.

to be honest, i have noticed that alot of british world champs get question marks on them over their chin... david haye, lennox lewis? i'm sorry to say but i think that is what americans seem to say about british champions that they dont like 9sorry to any americans that disagree, just an opinion)

 

Whether Khan's chin is the worst in boxing or not is irrelevant because Maidana has more than enough to power to crush average to good chins if he connects. Marcos and Ortiz have the biggest power at 140lbs and spark anyone by landing the right punch. The fact that Khan has a widely suspected glass chin is just a bonus when Maidana connects flush on that jaw.
