Holmes was sensational. Granted his time started just as the 70's golden era was coming to a close but his title win over Norton combined with defences against Weaver, Shavers, Berbick, Cooney, Witherspoon, Bonecrusher and Carl Williams established him as the main man for seven years straight.

Should be top five on any heavyweight list and in his prime would be a nightmare for any opponent. He would **** on today's division.
