Obviously pacquiao has declined over the last three years. But I'm concerned with to what degree has his decline occurred. So my question is how does the pacquiao of the last two fights compare with the one who fought cotto?

How does the pacquiao who fought cotto do against bradley?

Stops him imo. Pacs technical boxing skills havent declined but he lost the fire which was vital to his style.

People are going to say well if there is a catch weight blah blah blah.... No sir even Cotto himself said after the fight the weight was not a factor, of course he later changed his story and blamed the weight cus he quit again.

Anyhow that Pacquiao well thats a war with Tim, if he fights that exact style laying on the ropes like that its a friggen war I think Manny wins by late TKO...

But then again we never got to see the best of Bradley when he fought Manny keep in mind he had two injured feet... so its really hard to tell how that fight would have played out.

physically he appears to still be very capable of competing at the elite level but the hunger to be the best is done.

Hes not fighting washed up fighters at catchweights anymore. Thats why hes 0-3 in his last 3 fights.

Ever since Timmeh evolved from brawler to boxer and being good at doing both, I don't see anyone knocking Timmy out. Pre-Abregu Bradley, Pacman by tko perhaps, but not this current version.

It has nothing to do with fire and everything to do with having fought about 60 times since the age of 16 and in some of the toughest battles of the past ten years. He's put himself through to much. All the fighting has taken its toll and that should be obvious to any objective person.

This. It happens to everybody if they stick around long enough.

It has nothing to do with "fire," that's funny to say. You can't tell me he doesn't want to win the fights he's in. He still has that desire. Unless, by "fire" you mean work ethic leading into fights in which case I can't say because I'm not in his training camps.

I still would pick him over pretty much every JWW-WW at 147. But clearly nowhere as unbeatable as he seemed to be just 2-3 years ago.

If a disinterested Pacquiao beat Bradley 10 rounds to 2 then the Pacquiao from the Cotto fight trashes him completely and stops him. Pacquiao's decline, in my opinion, is due to lack of interest. He didn't really need to continue fighting at that stage but still did, the fire clearly wasn't there and it's understandable after all he accomplished. However, I believe the Pacquiao that fought Marquez was seriously motivated.

He never had technical skills. And that's the problem. How does someone as small as he is move up in weight and walk through bigger guys without technical skills?
