This has nothing to do with what Roger said because I have been thinking this sense the fight was signed. But I want to know who thinks the fight will be fixed. I'm not talkn about fixed because you want to down pacs accomplishments or discredit him. Pacs greatness is not suspect or questioned by me. I'm talking about fixed because bob arum is a smart business man.

Regardless of what clowns own this page think, bob is still looking for the mayweather fight and marg has the tools to beat PAC. But because he is limit in his movement, I favor PAC. But bob knows that if PAC loses then the mayweather fight will not be as big, if at all. He is to greedy to lose out on possibly his biggest pay day. One poster mentioned that it wouldn't be fixed because that just means a rematch between the two meaning more money for bob. I dont agree. It would sell but I don't think Anything is going to out do the PAC-may fight financially and rather than the world a putting 100% focus on marg beating him, I think it will lead to questions of what's going to happen now with PAC-may

So like I said this isn't to knock pacs accomplishment, although I don't agree with all of his career choices but what boxer do i? Not here to hear void is void or pacquiao is poochiow.

Serious thought in a biz context. First time doing poll so I don't know how to make it public so list what u vote.

    Like I have said before...
IF this fight were truly "Fixed" Arum would fix it the other way around, think about it?
Sure Manny is the number #1 P4P true, But ask yourself which fighter is closer to retirement?

More money in a rematch, keeping the fight in-house... ect
Forget about Floyd, The fight ain't happening Because Arum don't want it.
    (Not the other way around)

Ok, from a business perspective, the following could happen:

Pac wins - It brings us all that one step closer to the May/Pac showdown.

Margo wins - It will bring forth endless options for Bob, because a win over the ****-hot Pacquiao will put Margarito back on top of the world. A Cotto rematch and a Pacquiao rematch would the least that would happen. So that right there are 3 in-house Top Rank fights that Bob is benefiting from. There is plenty of money in there to surpass what he would make out of a single Pac/May fight, where he'd be sharing revenue with Mayweather and Golden Boy.

I don't think it's fixed. It's true that Margarito owes a huge one to Arum for backing him all the way through the handwrapping scandal and landing him this multi-million fight, but to fix a fight of this magnitude - it's just Roger Mayweather ranting. What I thought looking the way Clottey fought Pac is that the guy was simply happy to get the kind of paycheck to retire on his own rather than going all out and risking to be retired for the same money, and Margarito might have a simiar attitude. That's hardly fixing.

I don't believe the fight is fixed, but this is a sport at the end of the day anything can be fixed when money is concerned.

Would margarito accept one last pay day in order to lay down for manny? I doubt that very much. What would surprise me is if margo does not throw more punches than joshua clottey. Then i would have some doubts.

I've thought about that too. Just not with marg. I could make an arg both ways.

If this fight is fixed, so is every other fight in boxing. There's about as much proof.

Mosley-PBF was an "in-house" fight, does that mean it was fixed, afterall, Mosley pretty much stopped throwing punches.

    Ridiculous **** on these boards.

All good points but to "dangerously", u r a fool if u think it is uncommon for a highend fight to be fixed. In A promoters mind, boxing is not a sport it's a business that they control.

I think Marg will come out throwing bombs he is a bad ass mexican regardless of what has happened in the past.

He will go down Knocked out with pride or with his hand in the air victorious. He will not throw this fight or stand there like Clottey and be used as a punch bag.Look at the bombs Mosley threw at him, some fighters may have quit or took a knee but he kept on going.

P.S I hope Pacman sparks him and then gives him a big kiss with love from Cotto!!!

    No..

pacquiao wins- pacquiao said only few fights have left then he retires means bob arums have only few fights to enjoy and to drain his cash cow...

margarito wins- new cash cow of bob arum.. lot of options.... rematch with cotto, chavez jr., williams, etc.

it's a win win situation for Bob Arum....
