This was for the WBA world Flyweight title back in 1980 (?) and in Buenos Aires. Ibarra, the Panamanian who had talent, won the fight by split decision but I read on Ring en Espanol that it was a huge robbery.And it had a photo of a quite upset Laciar protesting in the ring. The questions are, to those of you who might have watched it, could Laciar be robbed at home? Was this a WBA "he is Panamanian, and the government is forcing us to give him the title" or "he is Panamanian, we need a new champion" kind of thing? Id appreciate some insight into this.
