Bhop wants the fight... Dawson and Gary too. Why the hell is Schaffer saying he will try to find loopholes in Dawson contract?
That was some BS reporting by Rafael that was taken out of context. During the post-fight press conference Hopkins was talking about how huge a Bute fight would be and then Rafael said something like "Well being that your contractually obligated to fight Dawson next...". Then Schaefer said tongue-in-cheek "We'll have to find loopholes" and everyone laughed. Rafael tweeted that is though he was told this in a serious way during a private conversation. I found the vid. The original plan was all fine until Bernard won, everybody agreed to it, now that he won he wants to back out. **** that Bernard, fight Dawson next like you agreed too, to get the fight with Pascal. Dawson made it possible by stepping aside to let you.
Ya but back out to what?....his fight was not even ppv in the states....if his plan is to wait until Dawson becomes a huge ppv attraction he mite not fight again.
good call.....and thats why rafael is a joke of a reporter(i never trust a man who prefers sprite or grape juice to whiskey or a beer).... id love to see either fight for hop...but definitley bute....cant stand seeing this guy get lined up with bs competition and have people calling him the best .....and the fight atmosphere up there is crazy....would be pretty cool
Since Dawson and Pascal want to fight old man. It would be great if they get Dawson his Pascal rematch then the winner get a shot at the belt. Old man would get a rest and title fight would be even sweeter....I could live with that.
Skip that lame **** above and listen up on the real deal. BHOP is saying Yes to Dawson, but behind the seen Schaffer is trying to get around the fight to make a more meaningful and fruitful fight with Bute instead. If the fight is to be in Canada Bute will put more naive Canadian asses in the seats than Dawson. Plus, Hopkins destroying Bute will give his legacy a bigger boast in the minds of the pale faces too. :good To be honest, I don't feel much excitement in a future match between Hopkins and Dawson either.
