Joe Might of sad that in an Early career interview - Prior to Bonavena ! - Or he might of simply ment that Old Scrap Iron was the Most Resilient at absorbing a constant Beating and still plugging away, ? Old Scrapiron was indeed known for his toughness, often without actually threating to win, hence his long career as trail horse to upcoming prospects.
