That punch that set it all up to really wobble Margarito. It was a left from Mosley. Since he has the orthodox stance, would that be considered a jab (a strong one)?

    Wasn't it an uppercut?
Don't know, just how I remember it.

He missed the right uppercut and then shot a huge quick left hook which nearly took Margarito's head off.

if i remember right didnt he throw a straight left bomb from a southpaw stance after barely missing with a shruyenken uppercut? That was the beginning of the end of Margo when he landed that left hand.

I just re-watched the video. It looked like he switched to southpaw for a second, so it was a straight left. But you're right, I think that right uppercut landed.

The upper cut landed. It looked like it grazed, but Margarito was nearly lifted off his feet. Then the straight left.

It was a wild left cross since Mosley has his right as his lead foot. A completely off balance and wide open punch... but hey, it worked.

It was actaully a body shot that was the start of the end of that fight. Margo was coming on walk to Shane and then BOOM a sweeping right hook to the body and Margo frooze, and started moving backwards. I found a clip it happens with about .58 seconds left.

But that Left hand come from the southpaw stance, so it was a left cross and not a jab.[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R38me5203X8[/ame]

Thanks for the correction. I was never familiar with the term cross. I got it confused with "swing."

They call it a "cross" because the punch travels accross the body. People use the terms "cross" and "straight" interchangeably.

he was going back when he threw that, and then he came forward. it reminds of the sam peter ko against jermy williams.
