Question about the titles in the SMW Tournie

    Is it possible that at the end we wont have a unified WBA/WBC SuperMiddle champion?

    Like for example, lets say in the final round of the round-robin a fighter with no other points so far beats one of the belt-holders. And then he didn't get through to the semis but help one the belts.

    Is that possible, and then he'd be out of the tournament, so coming in 5th lets say, but be a world champion?

    I guess it is possible that somebody beats the winner of Kessler/Froch, but doesn't make the semi-final stage.

    Yeah it's possible.

    The overall winner would have to come out with some sort of strap I think. SO they can then look to unify after the tourney.

    But I think we are all hoping for a unified champ once the dust has settled.
