Question: Are you happy with the current state of boxing?

Very mixed, some good quality out there but politics are running a lot of the quality fighters from meeting and therefore making a mockery of the sport. I read something the other day about the 100m mens athletics and someone making comment that the top runners pick and choose when they compete and the top runners avoid each other, the quote I then read was 'This is the 100m not boxing, we shouldn't pick and choose our opponents'. This says a lot about boxing at the minute and shows what other sportsmen and women think of our sport too.

 

Too much control Vegas scary the influence they have, some promoters are trying to break away from them.

 

things wont change. i love the sport for what it is. i dont love the corruption but what can we do. money controls everything in this sport

 

In all sports, let's be grateful it's not as bad as FIFA/Soccer in general. The corruption there is insane, almost every game is controlled.
