Question: Does Kessler get out of his contract faster if he fights Larsen?

If this is true he should just get it over with then move on because whats the point of fighting Johnson if he has to go back to fighting a few more Tomato Cans after? He can fight Larsen and make a lot more money then head for the states. I'm just wondering whats the story with this.

kessler's story is becoming really depressing. the man has to be fighting well known top acts right now.

 

Well, there aren't all that many well known top acts sadly.
LHW is an old mans division, the most exiting propect Chad Dawson can't draw flies (Kessler was offered peanuts to fight him apparently).
In SMW no one wants to air Froch, and Taylor is, well... What is Taylor doing anyway?

Ward and Dirrell are too inexperienced.

Bute, Abraham and Pavlik are all fighting tomato cans to fulfill their mandatory obligations

There is no money in fighting Glen Johnson according to Palle.

Although, why doesn't he fight Sakio Bika?

the story about this whole mess is, according to the danish media is, that right now palle and mikkel are talking through their lawyers.. it was written in several papers, that kessler would accept the larsen fight, but only if it meant, that he was done with palle and their contractual commitments is over..

so far thats all there is to the story.. neither palle or kessler have so far, commented on the issues.. kessler lawyer was on tv just a second ago, said the fight was being negotiated, but would not comment on the rumours regarding the contractual dispute

perhaps for some, it seems unlikely to happen, but that is really the most likely scenario.. palle is old, wants his big farewell party and kessler wants to go.. without kessler, palle is done in boxing, and as said, at his advanced age, its time and fortunately the arrows are pointing in that direction..

eventhough its a **** fight, its really the one with the most common sense for everyone involved..

palle gets his farewell, retires with a big bang.
the money involved will be huge.
its going to get massive attention in dk
kessler will get out of his contract
and larsen will get ktfo:yep
