There will definitely be a place for Brophy in the domestic mix as he is young and as Billy has said a lot of the top guys in the division are about to step above domestic level. It would be nice to see him get his shot at something in Scotland!!!
wont happen as mgm scotland wont pay for title fights. he will have to travel to fight for anything. greedy people in scotland
He is also clearly not near the level of Paul Smith, Rocky Fielding or Martin Murray either. I know you said he's 5th best SMW in UK but I think my assessment he's just inside the top 10 in more accurate.
Ian Butcher is fighting for a commonwealth title in Edinburgh next month though so not sure I agree with that suggestion that they won't fork out for title fights.
johnriley is clearly a spam account with a bee in his bonnet! Best ignored and sticking to looking at the facts and the opportunities scottish boxers will actually get!!! Anyway, fingers crossed for Brophy getting back in the ring soon and building back up. In fairness to mgm they got him busy before the Groves fight so sure they will get him active again soon.
i totally agree mate, i hope brophy gets back to the drawing board and builds himself back up so when his next opportunity arises he is better prepared to deal with it, if that happens the fact he was on such a big card last weekend will certainly help :good:good i don't really agree with what mgm have done for him tbh, yes they had him busy but with the exception of tobias webb who lets face it is area level at best they were keeping him busy with fights where he was not learning anything because the opposition was so poor :good:good
No shame in losing never mind losing to George Groves .fair play to Brophy for stepping up and taking the fight in the first place btw Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
