Is it worth it for you? especially if you are an annual subscriber? what perks are there for annual or monthly subscription given that you need to pay for the cards anyway?

I’ve been a subscriber since day 1. I understand that some members on this site would think that I was a mug and they might be right. I subscribe annually because I want to see the fights and it’s better value now than it’s ever been. Ironically when Hearn first got the DAZN deal in America, the fights were on Sky Sports and there was 3 or 4 world title fights per card. Now world title fights are a bit thin on the ground unless it’s a Saudi PPV but having Warren and Hearn on the platform is a major plus. I don’t really know how you can be a British fight fan and not have it unless you use other means. I’m happy to spend £8/£10 per month, whatever it is to support the sport. Basically it’s a £2 weekly PPV and that’s the price of a big bag of crisps.

If you're only interested in big events and want to save money, ignore the internet on fight day, wake up the next morning and go to Turki's youtube channel, as he posts every event in full for free after the event is over.

Ok, that aside, what's DAZN give you? Fight nights (a ton of them), some free cards with ranked fighters or even title fights, some live events of other combat sports (I find I rather enjoy Muy Thai), etc. If you happen to be into soccer, I think DAZN carries most of it, so that's there for those into it. There's also their cool classic event channel (called Pro Boxing Archive Series) on which they rerun full classic events 24/7 -- some of these full events are actually hard to find, so they can be fun time capsules.

Is it worth it? Is for me. I dunno for you. Check it out and see if you're interested in that stuff. If all you're interested in are the big events, it's probably not worth it. If you like the other stuff, it is.

You can rewatch like any notable fight in HD at any time - its amazing. No weird YT angles or ads or buffering.

DAZN also does baseball and MMA and other stuff too, but their boxing platform is second to none.

Its free for now. Turki will wind up doing like everyone else and seek profit and return on investment - its inevitable.

I'm hoping Turki buys TR and PBC so long as they dont price themselves out.

The goal is clearly to "take over" boxing hence bringing in Dana White. Yes, like any business, the initial phase requires investment and Turki/Saudi has already somewhat normalized boxing there. The biggest fights have been happening there for years now and people have adapted and incorporated the destination.

Dont think Turki is just being charitable. He's alrdy bought The Ring magazine and very well could buy-up one or more promotional companies and/or platforms. Dont be surprised when that happens

Interesting, maybe it's different in germany, but I can't just rewatch old fights on dazn I think. At least so far I only stumbled across the recent fights. Also with the current nba Playoffs, i was really annoyed to see that I can only watch the matches live. As replay I only get 3 minute highlights which is way worse than what youtube offers...

Also dazn here is way more expensive than 10 bucks...

The Saudi Ring magazine youtube channel is great but they put spoilers in their headlines, which is super unnecessary and annoying.

Scroll down and see if you can find "Pro Boxing Archive Series". Some underappreciated employee over there is doing the lord's work in finding FULL events (often 80's and 90's) in good quality, obtaining the broadcast rights, and throwing them up on there. Sure you can find most of the actual fights on YouTube, but it's hard to find the full events as they were originally shown.

Also just look around in the app. It could use better organization, and could really use a tab for "event replays" and a tab for "fight replays", but you can find plenty of you muck through it.
