I think it is more that people here respect him. He comes on the boards as a fan of boxing willing to share his views, like all of us, and people see that. He's a man, just like any other, but he is really good at not letting any type of fame he has aquired so far get to his head and he is a real down to earth guy. I know him well and he has always been like that, real humble, respectful, and gives anybody the time of day if they are willing to listen.

 

Get a ****ing grip FFS! 'Peoples Champion'??? Dings a nice bloke and a solid contender at Cruiser but no more than that at the moment.
