    If he doesn't fight...

    Manny Pacquiao

    Andre Berto/Shane Mosley winner

    or

    Paul Williams

in his next fight. Will you still be a fan? In other words, will you still like him/root for him in future fights?

This is towards those who are currenty Floyd Mayweather fans. Personally, I am. And if he doesn't fight one of those 3 options in his next fight, I will lose all respect for him.

It's not as simple as that. Pacquiao doesn't want to fight him, Mosley turned him down before, Williams is fighting up as high as 160. If he's still intent of keeping that March date, then it's not going to be as simple as fighting one of these 3. For a start they have to want the fight, then it's going to take a lot of negotiation over the purse aswell.

Floyd would of fought him at 147, not a stupid catch-weight where a huge welterweight has to drain-down to less than his optimum and healthy weight.

Wasn't much of a fan anyway but i know all the *******s would have bitched if Floyd wanted Clottey at a catchweight. Floyd knows he has the boxing world on his back about his next fight so i hope he picks Williams/Mosley the Pacquiao or his legacy is in serious question.

I would have said...."Whilst he's not a big threat to Floyd, he's still a live durable Welterweight that will prove to be a worthy opponent until Floyd fights Pac, and Mosley right after.

Darryl mate, if Clottey was Floyd's next opponent I would have probably wrote "Clottey is a tough guy and a world class welterweight, but Mayweather is gonna box his ears off".

Imo Clottey is a more dangerous opponent for Pacquiao than Floyd, due simply to their styles.

In a Manny-Floyd fight, my money is still going on Mayweather.

Because Roach said Pacquiao only feel's weak for 3-4 days. He only wanted 14 days. He compromised on the ridiculous $10 million weight penalty. He compromised to the 8oz gloves when Vegas permits the use of 10oz from I think 135 upwards.

Pacquiao instead of agreeing to a 14 day no-testing-window - bare in mind his own trainer said he only wanted 5 days, and bare in mind Floyd would be taking the same test at the same time - he came out with dumb-arse excuses like being afraid of needles.

He turned down at leat $40 million dollars, plus a chance to clear his name and prove people wrong and salvage his career & legacy, plus the chance to give fans the biggest fight around and one of the biggest in years, and he blew it. I wonder why?

You want the truth? Floyd will never fight a real threat and Pac will always fight threats with disadvantages.

You guys act like a fighter makes a fight alone. There are TWO parties in fight negotiations. If the other guy doesn't want to get down then there is nothing a person can do.

Any of the guys you listed could ask for something insane and send the fight down the toilet. Would it be Mayweather's fault? No. Would it be there fault? No. They are just trying to get their piece of the pie. The fight would not be made though.

He fights threats. It is just that when they are in the ring with him they don't look threatening.

Of course I know 145 falls under the welterweight limit you stupid cum-guzzler. But how exactly is it a 'welterweight' fight when the limit is 147 and a welterweight isn't allowed to come in at that? Clottey is a huge welter as it is and has weighed in the 170 region in fight's at times. So how exactly is he going to make 145 and still be in optimum condition?
