Had David Haye agreed to fight Wladmir first....(in my opinion a FAR easier task than Vitali) Would you then still be saying Wlad is better than Vitali as you mostly are now?? I honestly think not. From what I can gather, fans of the two Brothers are the most delusional posters on ESB. Some of the bitter comments are boardering on insanity. As a Lewis fan,i was appauled by Vitalis behaviour directly after and evr since their big fight. But fairs fair, despite it taking years, Vitali slowly won me over.. the dudes a gent-I CAN NOT SAY THE SAME OF HIS SUPPORTERS.
I`m not a real fan of the Klits, but i like Vitali. I think the two brothers have each fangroup, one are Vitali fans others are Wlad fans.. but ofcourse some are fan of both! And honestly i dont think Klits fans are more delusional than the Klit haters are.. Cmon it goes both ways!
I really dont even get what your point.. are you saying we wouldnt be confident in wlad in a fight with haye so we would say vitali is better?? either way, wlad or vitali would/will dominate him... Vitali is more comfortable in the ring and handles pressure better and has a better chin Wlad has faster hands, better technique, (now) he has better d-fence, ring generalship, the best jab in the division, the best left hook in the division, and every one knows about his steel hammer right... and most people (not just klitsch fans) consider wlad the better overall fighter.... Vitali has always claimed that wlad was the better of the two --So you claim Vitali won you over, yet you claim that his fans (including you?) are delusional... --you claim you care about being a gentlemen, yet you start a whole thread to call his fans comments insane, and the most delusional on ESB ...did you see now what you said that kind of ruins your credibility? do you think haye would beat wlad?
Vitali will smoke lewis in a rematch.. he was winning when the first fight was stopped... vitali was wobbled once by lewis, lewis was wobbled about 4 or 5 times..
wlad is the tougher fight but Vitaly is not an easy fight by any stretch and would be a GREAT win...how did Vitaly win u over...he hasn't fought...what did he come over and explain his actions to you:good
klitschko haters are the most delusional people on esb if u ask me..and i am a wlad fan...not so much vitaly but def not a wlad hugger by any means
This is quite literally my favourite boxing excuse ever, nice to see it still gets trotted out after all these years! "But, but, but, he was winning before he lost!"
Haye will lose to both bros. but he has a punchers chance against Wlad. Vitaly cannot be hurt by David. I remember the late 1990s and early 2000's when Lennox Lewis was the object of much hate ("he has no chin, he is boring, too conservative" ...etc.). Wlad is facing the same now but will be remembered as a great fighter just like LL.
Lewis was no where near as boring as Wladmir and I dont think history will be as kind to him as it was LL tho he is a good fighter, just not a great. My start of thread was because i read alot of comments saying Vitali was the easiest option for Haye.
I like all three of them, though Haye's been my favourite fighter for a while. I think that Vitali is the harder task for Haye, and he's showing tremendous courage in taking him on. I think that even if he lost, then if he lost close he could retain a reputation with that, much like Kessler still does round here. After the Peter fight, Wlad said that Vit was better, and I agree.
I don't really know what the basis of this thread is all about ( though I say that respectfully ). But, I am neither a lover nor hater of the Klitschko's. I admire them for the acheivments that they have given boxing, in an era where heavyweight action is almost non existant. I like their seemingly pleasant personalities and appreciate that they are both extremely well educated and intelligent - a rareity among fighters. I also admire them for keeping in such impressive shape. Are the Klits among my lengthy list of favorite fighters? Not really. Wladimir has not been very entertaining in his last several bouts and frankly, his losses to Brewster, Sanders and purity are less than flattering. As for Vitali, I like him but would have appreciated seeing him in against a few more world class opponents over the years ( although he has very good wins over Hide, Sanders and Peter ).
I'm a Klitschkos fan (mostly a boxing fan). I don't get your point: "Had David Haye agreed to fight Wladmir first....(in my opinion a FAR easier task than Vitali) Would you then still be saying Wlad is better than Vitali as you mostly are now??" :huh Sorry, i'm not smart enough.
