    All that **** goes out the window when you sign the contract. If Floyd doesn't wanna fight big dudes that kill themselves to make 147 then he doesn't have to. He's one of the greatest 130 and 135 lb fighters of all time. There are a lot of legends that never went up 4 or 5 weight classes.

    Floyd wins any way you cut it. But if Marg had to weigh in the day of the fight he'd be very drained.....Is it fair...NO...why? B/c the rules are implemented for a reason. Both sides need time (at least 24 hrs) to regain their viatal resources they loose trying to get down in weight. They loose electrolytes , nutrients ect..ect..ect... and you need down time to get those vital elements back. So its really not up for argument. To weigh in the day of a fight is dangerous.

    Listen if Floyd can make Hatton move up for a fight with him nah this isnt right, **** that if Floyd has the balls to come out and fight him he does so the way its done, in other words stop trying to get Floyd every advantage possible if he is the best P4P fighter in the world and the best welter weight he should have no trouble beating Tony with out the crazy ass theory same weight on the day of BS

    manfredy and Hernadez were both bigger then floyd , hernadez in fact was 5'11 .. Vargus is 5'5 he should have been fighting in a lower weight class , show me one 130 that is 5'5 other then him :lol:

    This thread is not to bash Margarito you goof but weather a request for same day weigh in would be fair.

    No, it wouldnt be fair.

    You guys give people like Oscar all hell for doing this. Why justify it with your favorite boxer then?

    the question is not bias towards ether fighter , so Im not trying to justify anything.. but its not like a request like this has done before .. SRL getting to pick the ring, and the number of rounds .. so the question is not out of the realm of possibility ..
