Floyd will pot-shot your ass off all night long if you arent good enough but if you are good enough & begin to test him & make him up his game then bet everything you have that he will start unleashing the combo`s amongst other things.

I could say the same thing about PBF. If Judah can win 4-5 rounds off PBF, why cant Pac win 6 or 7? Both have speed and power, difference is Pac has alot more stamina and heart.

Besides, PBF & JMM are completely different fighters. JMM offensively is better than PBF, he always fires back in combinations whereas PBF would potshot back. Speed has also always been the key to the shoulder roll technique, RJJ did against Toney and Judah's speed did against PBF, PBF had to put his hand sup against Judah.

Judah won 3 rounds against Mayweather. Not 4. Not 5. But 3.

JMM is not offensively better then Floyd. JMM throws alot and misses alot. Floyd throws occasionally but lands alot. Fighters who throw a massive amount of punches do so because they make up for their inaccuracy. Every punch that Floyd lands on Manny will be precise and accurate and a helluva alot harder then JMM's punches.
Floyd put his hands up because his gameplan during the fight was the walk Judah down and make him fight. Floyd didnt switch up gameplans because Judah was troubling him, his entire gameplan hinged on Judah being a frontrunner who didnt like to get in close range slug fests.

No one fight is the same...and styles make fights. JMM is more aggressive than FLoyd which will be better for a fighter like PAC. He'll have more offensive opportunities and even thought Floyd is very defensive minded I'm sure PAC will manage to land a few of his punches.

PAC definitely has a chance at beating Floyd should he come in with the right game plan. PAC is going to have to be aggressive using his jab and make sure he uses his feet!

In order for PAC to win he'll have to take away Floyd's counter right and Lead right hands that he's so sharp with and with timing and speed that is definitly possible. Pac will also need to stick and move early on until he is able to get floyd hesitant about throwing his own offence in fear of being countered himself.

Yo....Floyd and JMM have one thing in common with their style...they are both superb counter punchers but largely JMM is more aggressive...less defensive minded and more offensively driven.

Floyd is happy pot shotting his opponents for 12 rounds makeing it look like a one sided sparring session which give PAC more of an advantage b/c PAC is at his best when he's consistant with his offense......JMM made it a little difficult b/c he was staying about as active as PAC.

Not that Floyd isn't a counter puncher...b/c he is...he's just much more than just a counter puncher but he's also more cautious in the ring than Juan which may be a problem

JMM is offensively better. Floyd just happens to be a defensive genius so he makes up for his lack of punch output...hes accurate but so is JMM.

As for harder...never known PBF for being the "hard" puncher. He's the bigger man but that doesn't necesarily mean more powerful...its all relative. JMM was punching a 130lb version of pac, PBF will be punching a 147lb version of Pac...weight allows you to absorb more damage.

    1) JMM is willing to take shots to give shots
    2) JMM is one of the most superb technical fighters and will go to war with you
    3) Pac was weight drained in the lower weights and even the 2nd JMM fight.. Pac looked like a beast at 135 and 147.. He'll probably be at 140..
    4) JMM and Mayweather fight differently.. Mayweather pot shots, back peddles and likes to lay on the ropes from time to time.. JMM will stay in the middle of the ring..
    5) Mayweather doesn't like to be pressured, struggles against southpaws, and Pacquiao has the speed, power, and heart to give Mayweather problems..
    6) Pacquiao does best when he is the underdog
    7) Anything can happen in boxing
    8) You probably thought that DLH would murder Pacquiao
    9) He has God on his side.. Can't beat that, huh? :D

    thread starter,

All this discussion is purely HYPOTHETICAL!

Sports writers predicted PAC has no chance with

    lebabwa
    mab
    odlh

and this time with PBF! if they meet and PAC wins. Rest assured and be ready that pbf will be labelled as...

    SHOT!

I don't guarantee wins but I can guarantee what PAC haters will say if ever PAC wins!

    PBF is SHOT!

i had Judah winning the 1st 4 rounds.
And so did alot of other fans.

Sorry but PBF isnt as good as everyone thinks after 135 pounds plus.

    I so hope they fight.

Pacman has improved while PBF was getting worse. Thats what my eyes saw why else do you think retired instead of fighting Cotto or Margo.

    He was fading.

Its the other way around, JMM went life and death against Pac. Managed to get a draw in the first(thank the judge) and lost the second..even got KD'd but managed to finish the fight. Now that isn't even Pac's fault since JMM is found in almost everybody's top3 P4P currently.

Now regarding how Pac might defeat Floyd. There's actually no use trying, because i cant even see how Floyd would beat him. Point is, Pac brings excitement to the sport because he defies the theoretical outcome of a fight, simply because he doesn't impress people by his technicality.

I don't see Floyd a better fighter than JMM. He maybe better defensively but JMM throws much more punches in every fight and has a very underrated handspeed.

Haters still thinks that Pacman cannot and will not ever improve his skills.

Let's admit he is 1 dimensional(whoever come up with this word is either no life at all)

A 1 dimensional who caused havoc to any skilled fighters...

he'll find a way. dont worry about it. many of you thought he didnt belong in the same ring as oscar, pac found a way to beat him. it all depends on strategy. if pbf thinks that pac has no chance at the same time pac and roach figure out a gameplan to employ, then all bets are off. add to that the fact that pbf is coming off a layoff which could mean ring rust, should he face pac.

the thing is, you can spend hours and hours telling us that pac has no chance against floyd, pretty much like you guys did with de le hoya, then after the fight, yall cant say nothing but oscor is shot.

it is completely stupid to make sense of this thread because it was created to ridicule pacfans. let's just wait til they actually fight then let's see what happens
