This question is not meant to spark an argument, or even to make a point. I just want to figure out your guys' logic, which right now doesn't make sense. So, on one hand there are guys from your eras that say Cleveland Williams was an overrated but decent fighter because he only beat low-level competition: Omelio Agramonte, John Holman, Frankie Daniels, Dick Richardson, Bethea, Miteff, Terrell, Alonzo Johnson, Sonny Banks, and Billy Daniels. On the other hand you have Jean-Claude Bouttier, a less famous fighter who was a 70s middleweight, but you guys appear to think of him as a good fighter for his wins over Stanley Hayward, Juarez de Lima, Tom Bethea, Carlo Duran, Bunny Sterling, Manuel Gonzalez, Doyle Baird, Fabio Bettini, an aging Emile Griffith, and Joe DeNucci. It seems to me that both have the same amount and same quality of decent to good wins, and that's why I'm confused that Williams is treated like an outcast and Bouttier like a mini-legend.
