Yes ALL Irish people believe the same thing. And I'm sure ALL British fans have an unbiased and well informed opinion when it comes to their fighters.

You think there aren't Calzaghe fans who rate the RJJ win as a good one?

well benn was coming towards the end so he was better than him when he beat him and he was coming t the end also
dont think eubnk was as far gone as people beleive they were all very close in levels of talent in my opinion so maybe he edged eubank and was level with benn

I'm not sure Collins was better then Eubank and Benn but I have to say to those who point out that they were "pas their peak" when he fought them try to remember Collins is actually older then them both and had been in the war's himself in the Sates.
I see them all being relatively equal to be honest.

People decline at different rates, different ages and different times, irrespective of age, fights, rounds boxed and how many times they have been through the wars.

One thing that I find marvellous about Collins is his ridiculous consistency throughout his career - he never really dropped away in terms of ability and thought to a high standard all the way through his career.

Fact 1: The Collins/Benn fights are irrelevant.

Educated opinion 1: Any version of Benn loses to Collins.

We all know (or should know) the assets that the three fighters posessed so there's no point in going through all of their skills. In my opinion the real reason that Collins edges it is that he was far better structured.

He was years ahead of other fighters in terms of psychological preparation. He had the likes of Tony Quinn in his camp and he was the master of the mind game. I think all three fighters possesed massive talent but Collins was ruthless in his application of that talent. He was a far hungrier fighter. He didn't let distractions like women and the high life get in the way of his goal of winning world titles and defending them. You couldn't say the same for Benn.
