    Do you know, in the 90's what great amateur middleweight fighters were from the soviet countries or other countries but couldn't/didn't turn pro ? :think

    I am more than a true boxing fans dumbass. Boxing is my livelihood, I get paid by being involved in boxing...!!!


    As for you question:

    Tommaso Russo no pro fights

    Aleksandr Lebziak had only one pro fight (albeit it was at cruiserweight)

    Yeah I know a few of them and I agree with what you say - the landscape of boxing would be totally changed.

    Also I'm more interested about the amateur middleweights that dominated the amateur scene of boxing in 90's-2000 but didn't/did turn pro, i.e olympic and world amateur mw champions.

    Its interesting to see the whole boxing picture and who were the most talented fighters from ams that didn't have the big chance to turn pro and be promoted on USA soil.

    Yes Ottke had a stellar amateur career. So did Maske too.
