Question for those who scored any of first five rounds to Jacobs

it happens in all fights built up to be mismatches, the guy expected to get hammered is given the early close rounds almost as a token, sometimes even when they aren't close.

People were more in shock jacobs was still there after 3 rounds and kind of lost their minds and ability to score a fight

 

Here's how I had the first 5.

R1. 10-10 Even These *******s just scored the same number of punches and didn't do anything to catch a judges eye. Couple of jabs. Jacobs is faster, moving around the ring with Golovkin stalking. just a feel 'em out type round.

R2. 10-9 Jacobs. What is this low scoring bull****. Am I watching a Mayweather fight? Neither guy scored ten punches. Jacobs took that round with one or two jabs.

R3. 10-9 Golovkin Another low scoring round. I saw 9 clean punches from Golovkin and 7 from Jacobs. When are these pansies going to man up and fight?

R4.10-8 Golovkin Jacobs goes down after about four punches from Golovkin. Golovkin lands about 14 punches this round to Jacobs 4. Otherwise they are just playing patty cake in there hitting each other's gloves. Golovkin seems to be doing well with his jab through Jacobs guard, up the middle.

R5.10-10 Even Looked like 7 punches each, but if I had to give it to someone maybe Golovkin for being in command and going forward stalking Jacobs.

 

This. I watched mayweather v cotto live and i had mayweather taking the fight by 2 rounds. Went back and watched it and gave cotto 2 rounds total IIRC

 

Boxnation were on the take. They said Jacobs was up 3-0 after 3 and pretty much couldn't stop repeating Jacobs name.

 

yup, barry jones on boxnation was pretty ridiculous, if you listen to what he said after evry round he gave ggg about 2-3 rounds in total!

then after the 12th he said he had jacobs winning by a point so he reigned in he's insane bias a bit. But ggg clearly won this fight and outboxed a very good boxer

How do you score your rounds, and why did you give them to G sans the 4th?

 

Well I'm glad it's not just me,I thought I must be crazy cause try as I might I just couldn't give Jacobs any except maybe the 2nd if you're gonna be generous,listen to Jacobs and his trainer in the corner and there you'll get you're answer about those first five rounds because after round six Danny asks his trainer if he won that showing that the boxers themselves usually have an idea who won what rounds.

 

I don't disagree with anything heavily except this one. Round 5 was a clear Golovkin round. By clear I don't mean to be offensive, but he definitely took round 5.

 

Did you have to endure the Boxnation clowns? They had Jacobs winning 4 of the 5 (and probably scored the 4th a draw)

 

Jacobs took the first 3, GGG barely touched him, couple jabs here and there but nothing much. Close rounds where nothing much happened but Jacobs did the better work in all 3. GGG was already looking frustrated. Jacobs also won the 5th.

Some serious fanboy denial going on here. For much of the fight Jacobs made Golovkin look like Provodnikov.

 

There is not one sane person who would score ALL rounds 1, 2, 3, and 5 for Jacobs.

This has to be a troll post.

 

Please explain how GGG won those rounds. You are in denial right now, I get it.
