Question for those who scored any of first five rounds to Jacobs

GGG was getting off first most of the time, consistently snapping Jacob's head back with the Jab and Jacobs just wasn't busy enough to win more than 1 of the first 6 rounds. Just the first round, u see Jacobs head snap back 6-7 times from GGGs jab, Jacobs maybe landed 2, maybe 3 jabs, which didn't really move GGGs head back. He did throw one combo which the last punch landed on the side of GGGs head but GGG had his gloves at ears too I think. But GGG came forward, and simply put more leather into Jacob's face, thus earned him the 10.

 

Maybe you're right,I find it hard just to get my head round folk acting like that,it's only a sport as far as I'm concerned so if I genuinely thought Danny had been robbed I'd say so,sure I was rooting for GGG but if he'd of won cause of dubious judging it would take the shine off the win,as it happens I thought his jab was back on song that night,such a difference between both guys jabs?

 

His commentary was Jim Watt esque just horrendous and incoherent, him and Rawling were desperate to create a story that just wasn't there right from the early rounds.

Also John Rawling I know Danny Jacobs beat cancer, I respect the hell out of him for it and I don't need to hear about it every 5 minutes.

I'd much prefer if Box Nation just saved the money and gave us HBO commentary from now on.

 

You're a casual that thought GGG would blow Jacobs away in 3 rounds. Please borrow a clue.
