Wlad's nuthuggers always like to blame Sdunek for his early losses. They say he never taught Wlad how to defend when hurt and runied his stamina. If this was true, then how come that Vitali at age 38 could throw like 800 pounches in ten rounds vs. Arreola? If Sdunek had been the problem, Vitali would have had the same problems as Wlad, but he never had. Truth is, his stamina is petty much the same. The only difference is that he now only fights bums that let him do his thing, jab'n'grab'stink that is.
because all vitalis punches wernt trying to decapitate his opponents like wlad used to try and do..i pity the fool
Last time I checked Wlad and Vitali are two different people with two different styles. Wlad lost, plain and simple, its what he has learned since that makes him so dangerous. So please, who gives a ****? On July 2nd he will prove once again why he's the best right now. And I always love the "he only fights bums" line. LMAO. He's fought every credible opponent, if you know of somebody from Mars that can whoop him he's avoiding please let us all know immediately, link included.
Vitali was always the more natural fighter so Sdunek did not Germanize him but mostly worked on his strategy and conditioning. Wlad however always was more trainer dependant and pre-Steward he was pretty tight in the ring and consumed a lot of unnecessary energy. More than the technical skills. Manny's mental influence helped Wlad become the fighter he's today, Wlad was damn good back in the day (and exciting), but took more chances and used more energy than his conditioning or chin allowed. Technically Steward did nothing but fine-tuning, Wlad already knew every punch from the book.
