i think pretty much the first fight i ever saw and got me interested in boxing was SRL - Hagler. very hazy memory though...i just remember me and my brother being adamant (even though we didn't know **** about boxing) that hagler should have won.

The first fight where I can actually remember the names of the fighters, was Leonard Vs. Hagler from about '86.

last i seen of Dicky was on a british wrestling DVD, where they were having a nostalgic look back at the wrestlers from World of Sport, Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks etc.

Even Fit finlay was on it, I remember him well! Now hes simply the wrestler Finlay on WWE, hornswaggles brother:D

Back in the day Fit Finlay had black hair & a ponytail, & had an indian wife!

Good post, Dunky. My first fight memory is the second Ali-Cooper fight in 1966 and I've been addicted ever since. My name's Chesh and I'm a boxaholic! I'm probably also the oldest on this forum.

The only reason Finlay is in the WWE is cos hes irish, the americans cant get enough of anything from the emerald isle!
I must admit though, Im thoroughly enjoying the horswaggle storyline, I nearly died laughing when Vince Mcmahon took his belt to the poor dwarf in a cage:lol: especially when poor Finlay was handcuffed to the ropes & was powerless to stop the sick beating...
