The problem I see with Zab also is that he expends too much energy in the early rounds and he seems gassed by the 6th or 7th round. He needs to utilize the early rounds by studying his opponents habits and missteps then go on the attack.

Judah lacks that presence of mind in a fight he lacks the ring smarts and cant adapt or persevere, he is OK as long as his physical attributes gain him the advantage, but once his speed or skills dont overmatch the opponent and that opponent starts to have some success Judah falls back into that street punk from Brooklyn loser menatality. The guy is all skill and no depth.

All he has to do to beat Mosley, over 12 rounds, is what he did against Mayweather the first four rounds. Unlikely. :yep

If he trained to fight 20 hard rounds that would be a start.

He fades like De La Hoya.

He needs to jab hard and often, and let the the straight left hand go, but not go crazy throwing big shots that are going to waste his energy.

Also he needs to hire a real trainer and a conditioning coach.

To win this fight, Zab needs to fight in a cerebral fashion early on, utilizing his superior movement and speed to offset Mosley. I believe his advantages lie on the outside. He needs to keep up an active jab, but make it stiff and meaningful. When Mosley pressures, he has to find holes to counter and then pivot out of harms way to make Mosley reset his offense. Against Collazo, Vargas, and Cotto, Mosley was very hittable with straight punches down the pipe. Judah should throw his straight left hand with regularity, and also put the right hooks and uppercuts behind it to make Mosley more cautious about coming in.

If he can do this successfully for 12 rounds, he has a chance to win the fight. Unfortunately for Zab, he's only shown this type of mental focus a few times in his career at the championship level. So when you combine this with Mosley's chin, strength, and determination, it doesn't bode too well for him. I see him losing an 8-4 UD.

he's 30 i think, times running up..he needs to get a new trainer like roach or mayweather sr. He needs to get himself motivated, i think he can improve his stamina by running high altitude

I would like to add that collazo did land his straight left very cleanly on shane. Zab's straight left is superior, and I believe he will hurt mosley with it giving him the win. this is going to be the type of fight where either shane's straight right lands, or super judah's left lands.

For those of you saying that Judah needs a new trainer, i agree 100%. He doesn't need someone just as excitable as he is shouting at him. He needs a calm and collected voice that will tell him exactly what he needs to do.

And yeah, Shane has an iron chin. He got hit from Cotto with a couple of flush left hooks that would've KOed a lot of people. And he wasn't even stunned.

most people think a trainer only does his job in the corner, that s wrong, trainers do their jobs during camps, that is where they pick out mistakes and improve their fighter, but with yoel its like they go through the same training routine every time.

A better trainer would help, but the best trainer in the world wouldnt cure his mental instability. He just cant focus, and no amount of quality boxing training will change that. Just like Cintron does not have very much heart in a fight, and nothing Manny can do will change that
