Question: If Cotto has such a huge fan base, why was the crowd chanting Mosley?

    There were some Mosley supporters there as well, Mosley has a pretty big fan base. There were 15 people in the crowd chanting Maywethers name against DeLa Hoya so its nothing unusual.

    IMO, I think Cotto's fanbase started to get a lot bigger after the Mosley win and when people really started to see that Cotto was a true legit threat to Mayweather..

    It sounded like alot more the 15. It sound like the whole arena was shouting Mosley especially when he was backing Cotto up.

    What's your obsession with the Cotto/Mosley fight? And yes there were Mosley fans there also but the crowd at MSG was pro-Cotto like it always is, there were more Cotto fans there than Mosley.

    I obsess over alot of fights. The Cotto/Mosley fight most recently. And I noticed that for Cotto the rising young star, fighting in a city with a fairly large Puerto Rican population, his fans were being drowned out by Mosley fans.

    How about If PBF has such a huge base why did they BOO him vs Baldomir and walk out??? Feelings and results are different things at times. SSM is an estbalished Champ who lost a close fight.

    Watch Hatton vs Mayweather. Alot of people came into the fight wanting to see Mayweather lose, more left knowing that Mayweather is a true warrior.

    Because they wanted to see a knockout. Same reason some Mexicans booed Oscar against Forbes.

    This is a different beast though. Cotto was fighting the fight of his life and the crowd became very pro Mosley from round 9 on in what was supposed to be Cotto's turf.

    anybody that thinks that a hatton win improves Frauds resume at 147 is blind, one thing it does is prove the point that fraud is a cherrypicker cause there aere at least 10 guys better than hatton at WW
