    OK.

I knew one of them was 1.3 and the other was 1.4 I believe.

Mayweather/Cotto did 1.5 million and is THE third highest selling PPV for a non HW fight. It was second before Mayweather/Alvarez.

So that would mean both of the recent Pac/JMM fights did less than 1.5 mil.

Nobody with a brain believes Mayweather got paid 8 million for Baldomir.
    The buyrate was poor.
At the time, Mayweather was getting heavily criticized for turning down 8 million from Bob Arum to fight Margarito. So in order to shut up those criticizing him, both Mayweather and Dan Goosen who promoted Mayweather-Baldomir went public and said Mayweather was making just as much money fighting Baldomir.
    An abolute joke.

When Dan and Joe Goosen were pressed for the truth and it was explained to them he would lose millions and the promotion would'nt make any money, the Goosens explained it was ok with them as the loss was an investment for Mayweather future fights and earnings.

:nutOnly problem was Mayweather-Baldomir was the only Mayweather fight the Goosens promoted. Mayweather bailed on them!
    .
Mayweather did not make 8 million for the Baldomir fight. The Goosen's would have never paid him that without Mayweather first signing a contract for them to promote his future fights.

Maybe they did and lost the roulette when Mayweather never again teamed up with them.

I highly doubt it, but even if that were the case, Mayweather making 8 million for that fight would have more to do with Mayweather conning the Goosen's than Mayweather being worth that type of money to fight a Baldomir type.

The Goosen's today dont speak begrudgingly of Mayweather, so that pretty much tells me they were not conned. Its the public who was conned by both Mayweather and the Goosens. The little that bought the Baldomir PPV that is.

Charles Barkley and other celebrities were getting out of their ringside seats and leaving the arena before the fights conclusion! :rofl:lol:

Goes to show you how much people wanted to see Mayweathers skills on display! :yep

Oscar lost most of his luster at the time he fought Pacquiao. And many thinks it's a huge mismatch.

Oh really. So ESPN, yahoo sports, and others were all lying when they reported as such. Good to know. You have excellent investigative skills. Would you mind educating us all with your FACTUAL evidence and not just some bull**** conspiracy theory. Much appreciated. We'll wait.:good
