    My question to you posters:

If Floyd made a formal announcement stating that he would fight Pacquiao with full on blood testing (since pacquiao said he doesn't have a problem with that) and a 50-50 split but the fight could not happen under Arums Watch? Meaning that pacquiao would have to have another promoter set up the fight (could be anyone. Dibella, GBP, Goosen... ANYONE) Do you think he would do this?

The reason I ask is because as fans of both/either mayweather or pacquiao I think its time we all accept what is going on here. Bob arum is sabotaging the negotiations so he can continue to milk pacquiao. Pacquiao absolutely isn't scared of floyd & Floyd absolutely isn't scared of pacman. The stumbling block here is bob arum, he doesn't like floyd and never did and will do what he can to drag his name through the mud. It's worked pretty well up to this point but people are starting to see the truth

so I ask you, (although this is not realistic) do you think arum would let pacquiao free?

Absolutely not, and if Pac indicated that he may be leaving (and had a legit option to leave), this fight would get made immediately. Arum will get his part of the pie...

I'm confused. You're saying it's not realistic that Arum would let Pac go, but then you're asking if he would let him go. Maybe I'm reading your scenario wrong. From your scenario, I don't see any incentive for Arum to cut Pacquiao loose.

Arum will kill Pac before he lets that happen. And miss out on all that money (like he did with DLH-Floyd in 2007)?????

Man, if I was Pac and it came to this level of disrespect, I would just say "**** the fight."

Why would Pac have to leave his promoter?

    You don't think that's ridiculous?

This fight will make even more money due to Floyd's behavior in the ring against Ortiz. He is the ultimate villian.

This fight may make double of what it would make before.

How could this fight not happen if Pac manages to get past Marquez?

This is what the fans want and what the fans are willing to pay for...

So after the drug testing issue is settled, Arum is the next problem. Is this the last roadblock? Do the *****s support Floyd's stance here? :think

My bad. I left out a part.

If pacquiao agreed to mayweathers formal request and wanted to take him on outside of the Arum umbrella. In my mind manny really wants this fight, and he was ready to do what floyd said since Arum isn't fighting the fight anyways... pacquiao is

my question is would Arum let pac go because pac wants to be let go?

I agree. However, it's interesting to note that both Marquez, and Mosley had to leave their promoters in order to get a fight with Pacquiao. Bradley had to leave his promoter, ditch the Khan fight, and get blasted by everyone as ducker just get in line to get a shot at Pacquiao.

Wow, your story is very distorted. Bradley left his promoter over money...

I didn't see any demands made by PAC that those fighters had to leave their promoters.

Can you offer some proof that this is the case?

    :lol::lol::lol:
When has Arum ever given the slightest bit of indication that he gives a damn about the health of the sport (aside from lining his own pockets)? Why in the world would he suddenly become an altruist on this matter when it goes against practically everything he's done as a promoter?

No, there's still no incentive in it for Bob. Bob is a ruthless business man. He's not going to voluntarily let Pacquiao go just to watch him make a ton of money against a guy he despises, while gets no piece of the action. Now, If Pacquiao were let out of his contract, but had to give say 20-30% of his purse to Arum regardless, then we have something to talk about.
