Richie Davies has gradually lost my respect over the years, that just concludes it... a draw..come on, Ricky may keep his belt, but he would have come out with a hell of a lot more respect if they had just scored it fairly and given it to Beltran...nobody benefits from these types of results Beltran gets robbed(again), and Ricky is now a subject of hate for it
I must be in the minority who thought this was a close fight. I had Beltran winning 114-113, with Ricky winning rounds 1,2,6,7,11,12.
i like almost everyone else had beltran winning but people are going overboard with the robbery i had burns winnning rounds 1,2,6,7,11,12 so i had him losing by point but he did get beat the whole fight it seemed knocked down and was hit with the bigger shots which people remember and the rounds he won where not a clear as a lot of the rounds beltran won
Anyone who hates Ricky burns after last night is an idiot IMO. Not his fault the fight was subject to poor judging/corruption, however you want to look at it. He's a fighter, he fought, he got outclassed. End of. Any outrage should be in the direction of the judges and ref.
No it was a clear robbery. You must have given every remotely close round to Burns and you still couldn't make it a draw. That is incompetance, what the judges did is corrupt.
