If a rematch was to happen say May/June 14, do you think groves would have paddy Fitzpatrick in his corner again irrespective of anything else or do you think by then things may be patched up with booth & where would that leave paddy who was there in his moment of need?
True, say what you want on booth as a trainer you have to believe if he was in the corner he would of said that right things to cool groves down and get him boxing more and pull away down the stretch. Probably still gets robbed on the cards tho.
I think he has already said he has never had a better training camp and won't be working with Booth again
Quick question, but I vaguely remember seeing a clip of Groves post fight with Booth in his dressing room having what looked like a fairly civil conversation. It was only a couple of seconds and they didn't make anything of it on Sky from what I can make out, but I had a room full of people still ranting about the decision and the I haven't seen it since. Anyone else see that and hear what was said?
I think there maybe a question where he works with both of them maybe. As I do know that Booth and Paddy to work together so maybe that's something that will happen in the future.
there was no sound when they were talking in the corridor, so we don't know what was said between the two. but it must have been friendly considering they were hugging each other. maybe we see Groves and Booth back together again in the future? or maybe too much has happened for that to ever happen. Booth WOULD be great for George if it did happen. that cannot be disputed.
