50-50 is just fair for a fight of this magnitude. if floyd wants a bigger share, go get it from his promoter and not from pac. 50-50 and 14 days cut-off in the contract is fair enough. if floyd won't sign, he would be labeled as a ducker by all the boxing fans except some of floyd's hardcore fans.

You are allowed to be mad at a fighter who doesn't give you your money's worth. You don't have to be a fan of 1 boxer.

There is a whole sport out there to watch. Some guys are making 1/140th of what floyd would make for this fight and are fighting their hearts out to put on a good show for the fans.

These guys are called fighters and warriors, they are not calling people out to avoid them, they actually want to be the best.

Yep...everyone just wants this bout to happen now (well almost everyone). Otherwise everyone is just going to continue to have the same arguments/debates over and over again.

    And yes...Arum is a twat.

Because Floyd and his knowledge on how much sales he does is what determines the fight.

Let's make this clear, it's not what Leon thinks, lukeO thinks, or puka_na_nanny thinks that determines how negotiations will ****ing go. It's the fighter making the fight.

You guys are over here butt hurt and angry at joyboys for explaining the most likely perspective going on in the fight maker's, Floyd, mind.

People don't start passing up money and doing poor business just because they're rich. They wouldn't even be wealthy in the first place if they didn't have that greed and business sense.

the question is really: how will the media portray it? We know how ESPN is portraying it. That will likely be how most journalists portray it. Remember, last time around Pac was widely portrayed as the guy ducking.

The other side of the coin is that even with 45% of the purse emmanuel is still making the biggest payday of his career.

We're already seeing how the media is portraying this. The media is rarely ever on Floyd's side, anyways, so I doubt he really gives too much of a ****. That's the price you pay when playing the guy everyone loves to hate.

Time is money. I would let the world hate me for a few months if it meant making a few mil from my act or big show.

So you acknowledge Pacquiao ducked Mayweather in January?

Everyone is claiming will be a ducker if he doesn't sign. We are forgetting that we will also get more info tomorrow about what is in the contract.

That is really what will affect public perception.

Casual fans don't give a **** about that stuff.

Mayweather is already a coward to them.

Floyd's fans are the ones who will dismantle the contract and how unfair it was after today.

pac has his own 24 days back then. pac had just conceeded to floyd now to make the fight a possiblity. so now pac conceding his previous stand means ducking before?

pac has always wanted to fight floyd, i could not say the same to floyd in regards to pacquiao.

so why are you bringing the split just now when they have settled it 50/50 before? you are trying to hard to justify floyd's refusal to sign and fight pacquiao because you think 50-50 is not fair for a fight of this magnitude?

would you complain if floyd agrees on the last minute and the contract was divulged and it was 50-50?
