Mate, you are so close to the painting, at you're almost featured in it!!!!

The son was Empire champ in the 50's onwards, the father was boxing 1920's.... The father KO'd the former w/w champ in an Oz M/W title bout.....

    Well done Rodin!

The Barnes / Burns association has been mentioned somewhere recently, perhaps even earlier in this thread, but the penny wouldn't drop for me! Wouldn't have guessed, or probably even found, the link to former title holder Clabby though.

    Serve one up mate.

The first name should be a big enough clue.

Good man :) Another good win for Cmyru on the weekend. Scotland were much improved against the Frogs, but have a long way to go...

Yep but Homer here ain't thinking straight sleep deprivation ain't good Rock :-(

Yes Ippy Wales played poorly and the English weren't as bad a many made out , i was expecting the Frogs to run riot over the poor Sweats but was pleasantly surprised , good on them ,

Ps What the REAL name of the fighter whom # 2 faced in his most famous trilogy back in the late 40's ? :hi:
