Docked my pay??? Thats a bit rough.... I already cut the sleaves off the beige Cardigan so I was able to lay in the sun mate...

Here's a relatively easy one for you guys...

Which rising Aussie W/W's career was cut short due to a split retina during a bout in the late '60's.... Having dispatched with his oponent via a TKO7, the injury was still to great for any further bouts.

Well done Oldman, was hoping this would be snatched up pretty quickly. The sleaveless beige cardigan is yours mate.

Ok, I missed the joke, and the phone bill is all yours mate.

In the same frame, a former TV ringside fighter, Oz champ, had a son who later started as a kickboxer, to quickly move into orthodox boxing, claiming Oz and Commonwealth titles... Who are these men????

Sounds like someone (M.R. perhaps) might have had their sports a little mixed up for a round or so. Wonder what 'ol Merv would have had to say about that happening?

    = correct.

Just working on the last question and thinking aloud:

Sammy Soliman fits nicely as the son in such a scenario. But I have no clue on his dad unless he fought under a different name - should I give this idea a miss?

Yes CHB... off target... The TV Ringside boxer/Oz Champ was a crowd pleaser, all action, leary blonde in the L/W ...lW/W div... Hec took the National crown... Far too many clues.

'Must be..' exactly, I believe Leo jnr had 7 or 8 kickboxing bouts prior to Johnny Cooper taking the mantle as his trainer.

The cupboard is bare, regarding prizes, please accept the cardigan sleaves..
