This wont be a test... a simple challenge, and the reason for the thread.

    Cheers.

Griffo is listed as 173 bouts..... will keep looking.

George Cook has a fair resume'...

'Old Man'... I believe you may have made a mention of this before.. having peeked at the '75 Ring Record book... Don Johnson is the man... What a fantastic career connection, encompassing 3 of our greats.

Top question.... I just hope I answered accordingly.

    Who am i?

I was a bum until the World Champion gave me a shot. It was an epic battle that demanded a rematch. I won the rematch by knockout right at the end of the fight.

I went on to defend the title many times until i was stopped by a fellow American. I regained the title in a rematch via KO.

    More clues to come.

'Old man'... sun burnt arms are too fragile for the sleeves.... Obligued anyway.

Throw the time back a little further...
Australia had a kiwi who claimed our National H/W title..
This particular name was mentioned a while ago... not on this thread.. Yet, the Kiwi claimed our H/W title, before losing a leg in a train shunting accident.

A Clue: This Kiwi was the H/W champ of Oz, in the same year Corbett boxed Peter Courtney in the filmed exhibition.
