Longest unanswered question so far I reckon Flamengo - about 3 days!

    What we know so far:

    Name: Jack....
    Born: 1889.
    Died: early 1960's.
    Boxed: as featherweight.
    Retired: 1918.
    Trained: George Barnes.

I don't know the answer to this one and can't seem to source an answer either.

Perhaps the offer of some mouth-water prizes might entice the likes of the Rock, or someone else a bit smarter than me, to solve it.

Question.... There's an interesting family situation in the 70's... One man lost his Oz title, only to have his brother take another Oz title, a GENUINE division higher, from the same man, 3 1/2 years later.

Who are the 3 men involved in these bouts????

Prize, another refreshing can of 'COURAGE'....... its been on the shelf though.

Started with the Mulhollands - no!
    Tried the Moores - no!

Gotta be the Ropis' with Babby Cassius as the 'link' man.

Was hoping for at least a Valliant Charger on the Jack Dunleavy answer - should have stretched it out another day!

Good response again mate. Will have to age the Courage cans a while longer... making you earn the cans.

An easy one... for the Charger.... or Leyland P-76..

This one pertaining to an overseas fighter. Sadly, he met his demise, via the hands of an all time great.. Perhaps, THE ALL TIME GREAT. James Delaney was his birth name...

Whats his name, at time of death????

    QUESTION

Born in the USA and fought predominantly in home country.

Went the distance with an all-time great who would go on and win a world title less than 2 years later.

Visited Australia briefly in the early 1960’s fighting twice in Sydney, and against the same Australian opponent.

Inflicted first loss on the Aussie but lost the return bout.

The American retired and returned home.

The Aussie would go on to win an Australian title in his next bout and retire straight after, with the loss to the American the only blemish on his record.

After 3 years in retirement the American returned to the ring, and his 2nd comeback lost his life.

Who was the American who lost his life? Who was the Australian who he travelled across to Sydney to fight for a win and a loss?

CHB.... that took some searching for mate, seriously!!

The American is Willie Stevenson, a more than average fighter.

Sid Prior is the Aussie who retired too early....

Was going to reward you with a genuine Coke-A-Cola yoyo, as you did some work finding the answer I'll throw in a Fanta yoyo too.
