Mil. No idea at all regarding Kicketts current status.

WhataRock, Kegsy, Marcus, Anenigma, Kel etc. have a finger on the pulse when it comes to this sort of question.

    Apologies.

Robinson falls just short of the magical 300. In fact I think he's the next highest behind these four.

Educated answers....but none of the above are correct.

I was thinking Hammerin' Hank but he didn't quite fit into the divisions or rounds, I have him at around 200 rounds in title fights.

This shouldn't be too hard but its a good question, drawing blanks atm trying to think of an answer.

    QUESTION - Update

At least 4 fighters have fought more than 300 rounds in world title fights.

Fighter 1 was primarily a welter/middle weight - answer is Emile Griffith (who had most rounds of anyone).
Fighter 2 was primarily a featherweight - Hint: Born late 1800's.
Fighter 3 was primarily a flyweight - Hint: Only had 50 odd bouts in total.
Fighter 4 was primarily a welterweight - Hint: The most recent of the group to get to 300.

Can you put names to the last 3 numbers???

    ANOTHER UPDATE

At least 4 fighters have fought more than 300 rounds in world title fights.

Fighter 1 was primarily a welter/middle weight - answer was Emile Griffith (who had most rounds of anyone).
Fighter 2 was primarily a featherweight - Additional hints: Born San Francisco in late 1800's and had 174 bouts for 125 wins (has the 2nd highest total of rounds behind Griffith).
Fighter 3 was primarily a flyweight - Additional hints: Born in Panama City, and had only 54 bouts in total.
Fighter 4 was primarily a welterweight - answer was Julio Cesar Chavez.

Can you put names to the numbers 2 and 3 numbers???

A treasure trove of prices await Flamengo if you get the full set of 4 answers correct.

All answers correct...and a clean sweep to Flamengo!

Incidentally the highest tallies are as follows:
    1. Emille Griffith - 339
    2. Abe Attel - 337*
    3. Hilario Zapata - 303
    4. Julio Cesar Chavez 301
    5. Sugar Ray Robinson - 288

    * Have double checked Attel's tally - you may have only counted
the first of his 3 pages of career record in BoxRec.
Your reward, a scenic joy flight to Bagdad (one way) leaves Melbourne airport later this evening. Make sure you say all your goodbyes before jetting off.

    QUESTION

Well travelled & popular southpaw from the old TV Ringside days. Fought many of Australia's best including an unsuccessful tilt at a Commonwealth title. Never managed a national title though.

Went the distance with a future world champion, and then went the distance again with the same fighter after that fighter had won a world title (non-title bout).

Thought a certain Old Man would've knocked this one over the fence by now - will offer a slight hint:

HINT: The world champ in question wasn't an Aussie.
